In the beginning...

Before me and my son eat together, we say a few words about things that we're thankful for. Most of it has to do with having each other. We don't have too much, but,we are thankful for what we do have.

I would like to take some time to thank everyone not just for being here, but, for being passengers on the journey. You all make the trip worth it.

Chances are very good that if Scott Walker wouldn't have "dropped the bomb" I wouldn't be writing this. You may not even know that I exist.

But he did.

What follows here will be thanks to him.

I never imagined being where I am today. In one way, it's exactly where I want to be, but, I want to get to someplace else.

Being a "Wisconsin Civil War veteran" isn't something that any of us wanted to happen, but, we are survivors. The Banana Republicans destroying our way of life picked the wrong place to experiment on.

There is no doubt that we will get to where we need to be.

Thank you for being part of this experience called life.

  2. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine finding blessings in the hell that Scotty has wrought. Thanks for helping me reframe my thinking.

    1. Seems we don't appreciate good health until we get sick.
